Introduction
This course provides insights into the nature of workplace stress, examining its physiological manifestations such as burnout and PTSD. Students explore stress-related aspects of organisational life, including role overload and ambiguity, and develop strategies to mitigate stress through empowerment and goal-setting. Preventative health management techniques, like counselling and wellness programmes, are also covered, equipping learners to foster healthier work environments and enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
